Day #4 VLCD
Got up today all jazzed to hit the scale until I actually read what popped up. I only had .5 drop from yesterday. I don't seem to lose as much as everbody else does during the first week so far. Yesterday I really didn't drink a lot of water I was more busy running all over chasing kids. Going to try tomake it up today. Then lastnight after dinner my hubby broke down and said he couldn't do this diet anymore and ate like 6 brownies drank some milk and had a bowl of ice cream :( I felt bad about it. Then Mike left for work at 3am this morning , and I usually get up an hour after he leaves and I go weigh myself and take my drops and he took his drops to work with him and took his pre-made lunch I made him too. I don't get it, does he want to do this or not? I have no clue whats going on. Guess I'll have to wait until 4pm to find out. Other then that I'm hoping today goes better and I lose more weight tomorrow, I would like to have lost more than .5 pounds like today.

Hang in there Jamie! I'm glad your hubs decided to take his drops and his lunch with him...the first week or so on this diet is so rough, and it's good to see that even after he broke down and went off protocol, he's back on the bandwagon. Even if he quits, remember that you have all of us ladies here backing you up in your efforts, and you aren't alone in this. I'm surrounded by a bunch of thin people in my family so I've been doing this on my own the whole time. Some days it gets pretty hard, but every time I try on something smaller and it finally fits, or I look in the mirror and notice that my butt or belly are smaller it makes it worth it.
ReplyDeleteThe .5 lbs on day 4 is not bad at all. The average loss is .5 lbs per day and I can see by your ticker that you are still WAY above average. You are doing awesome, keep it up!!!
Dont give up Jamie! I am glad you didn't give in last night! We will support you through this!!! Hopefully your hubby will get back on the diet... but if not we will be your support team!
ReplyDeleteDon't feel discouraged about a .5 loss... somedays you might not lose anything (which is still good!) and others you may only lose .2 lbs. A loss is still a loss!! The amount of water you drink really does make a difference!! I carry a "sport quart" where ever I go now! It was really hard for me at first cuz I hated water! Lol.
You are doing a great job. If you ever want someone to talk to you can text me (best way to get ahold of me with my crazy schedule!) 208-819-8699.
Yep, water is key to losing on this diet. It helps flush the fat that's being released out of the body. The days I don't get my water in are the days I have terrible releases. I've been told that if you take your body weight and divide by two....that number in ounces is how much you should be drinking daily. Hope that makes sense. Hang in there! It will get easier.♥
